Dizzy Izzy's challenge

The February challenge at Dizzy Izzy Scrapbooking is to include flags/banners or bunting on a layout. Email your entries to dizzyizzy@y7mail.com

I have this Australia flag left over from last Australia Day, that my girls had when we went out for the day. I kept it cause I knew it would look good on a layout. So here it is. I painted the background cardstock with red paint and glued the flag on. I used a lot of recycled items, netting from a Mcdonalds toy, blue ribbon stuff from my husbands name thingy when he went to conference and a strip of denim cut off someone's clothes. I coloured the chipboard title with water colour pencils.

Scrap Sanity School challenge

Scrap Sanity's February challenge is to create a school layout. I havent printed any photos of the girls heading off for their first day of school this year. So I have used some photos of my eldest girl when she received an award last year for being a friendly student.
I used Kaiser patterned paper, mini alpha stickers, rub ons and journal block, Jolees stickers, Sam I Am's crochet doily, fimo car, and flower and chipboard pieces.

Southern Girls challenge Blog - Magic and Mystery challenge

Magic and Mystery is the theme for the new challenge at the Southern Girls challenge blog
http://southerngirlschallenge.blogspot.com.au/
The sponsors for this round are
Delicious Doodles
http://deliciousdoodles.blogspot.com.au/
and
The Paper Shelter Digi Stamps
http://thepapershelter.com/

I chose the very cute image called Enchanted Dancing, which I coloured in using some copics and stampin up markers. I created a double layout for this challenge because I had so many photos of my girls in their dance costumes from last year.
For my layout I used Stampin Up and 3 bugs in a rug patterned paper, prima pearls and flourishes, papermania journal blocks, buttons, making memories stickers, carolee creations alpha stickers, american craft thickers, heidi swapp chipboard, kaiser alpha stickers, samiam's fimo mushrooms and crocheted flower, chipboard mushrooms, and left over material from girl's dance costumes.
